On that day, Chinese people worship moon with their sincere feelings. In 2006, the Mid-Autumn festival is listed as one of China's cultural heritage. And in 2008, Mid-Autumn festival is also classified as public holiday. Moon cakes are indispensable food on the Mid-Autumn festival in Chinese people’s eyes. People give away moon cakes as gifts to their relatives and friends.
